Job Responsibilities

Ensure that all teams have enough quality and competitively priced product to sell and meet their target.
Communicate and actively pursue ways to strengthen Mushroom Travel’s bargaining power with suppliers, internally and externally.
Strategic supplier selection and adjustment to achieve: better deals with greater choices (quality) , preferential rates (price) , Block seat , long term collaboration.
Ensure that agents have product knowledge to answer customers’ inquiries.
Checking and approving, proposals, travel itinerary and details of travel arrangements against customer requirement and cost.
Reviewing Tour Guide and customer feedback.
Liaising with Marketing, Reservation and Accounting team, as well as other third parties (airlines, wholesalers, land operators, hoteliers and resort reps).
Effective resource planning and implementing of business strategy initiative from board to achieve goal
Improve team performance
Work with HR in recruitment and succession planning.
Act as Tour Guide in particular area/region when needed.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in Travel Business (Outbound Tour would be an advantage).
At least 2 years experience in Managerial level.
Bachelor degree in Tourism, Business Administration or related fields.
Good command in English both written and spoken.
Computer literacy.
Able to work in flexible schedule upon business need (including weekend and public holiday).
Able to travel domestic and overseas from time to time.
